The SchafbergBahn is the steepest cogwheel railway in Austria. Since 1893 mighty steam locomotives have powered their way from the lake-side base station in St. Wolfgang to the 1783 m high summit of the Schafberg.
From late April to late October the WolfgangseeSchifffahrt provides shipping services on the lake and conveniently connects all the towns with each other. The most renowned destination is St. Wolfgang.
Aside from the "Kaiser", the fleet consists of six motor vessels, including the flagship "Salzburg" and the "Österreich", which accommodates up to 365 passengers.

Red Bull Hangar 7
Hangar-7 at Salzburg Airport is a unique building which houses the historical Flying Bulls aircraft fleet and a collection of Formula 1 race cars. Hangar-7 also offers space for art exhibitions. Spectacular viewing platform
Not for the faint-hearted! The 5fingers viewing platform offers an adrenaline rush at the highest level. This is probably the most spectacular viewing platform in the Alps and reaches out like a hand over the 400 m drop.
Fortress Hohensalzburg is a real eye-catcher, high above the Baroque towers of the city. The castle remains a visible landmark to this day and is an unmistakable feature of Salzburg’s world-famous skyline. From afar, the mighty walls begin to reveal the history visitors experience at first hand within these sturdy defenses.
